JVD Wall Unit

Six doors are in the tall block; the other two are bench bays. The six bench fronts are dimensionally identical — the four LEFT fronts (b1–b4) run on drawer runners and the two RIGHT fronts (b5–b6, the AV bays under the TV) are hinged doors.

Four drawers in the bench, two under the desk. Tandem with a timber box, or Legrabox / Merivobox steel-sided — your call. Indicative nominal lengths NL400 (bench, 436 internal depth) and NL300 (desk). The drawer boxes in the cutting list are placeholders.

23 mm Unilin Evola decor board for carcasses, frames, shelves and the niche lining, 19 mm fronts, 8 mm backs rebated and inset (never overlaid), 12 mm back to the niche lining. The board build-up is your call — melamine-faced (Evola MFC) or HPL-faced; say which in the quote.

Every visible gap is 3 mm. Fronts carry half-reveals (1.5) toward each other and full reveals (3) toward fixed panels. Shadow lines run collinear across modules — all lower door tops land on 867.0, all bench fronts on 379.0.

Front joints, tower verticals and shelf-band bays share the same vertical lines all the way along the wall. The last bench front ends on the ~6007 line, and the nose runs 6007 to 6160, where bench and shelf band both stop.

The tall block’s two outer sides run forward to the front plane as visible 23 mm frames, 463 deep; the right-hand one is grounded to the floor rather than sitting on the plinth. Doors are inset between them. The internal column joint at 1000 is frameless.

A complete lining box in the Natural Oak decor, its edges flush with the fronts. Terracotta slab (30 build-up: 18 ply + tile) with its top on 900. Cup shelf at 1460, with a 12 × 8 LED channel routed in its underside, 18 from the front edge (aluminium profile + diffuser; the driver sits on the floor of column 3, on the wall socket, its 24 V lead entering through a Ø10 hole at cup-shelf height and running along a small groove under the cup shelf). The electrics sit in the right lining cheek, low and near the back: a vertical double socket — two Ø68 flush boxes at 100 and 171 above the slab — with the minimal LED switch box beside them; box centres 82 and 153 from the lining back. The boxes pass through the 23 mm cheek and the 23 mm shared divider and open into column 3 of the tall block, where the cables run down the back corner — nothing sits in the wall cavity behind the niche. Use furniture-rated (hollow-wall) boxes. A La Marzocco Linea Mini and Pico grinder are modelled in the niche for scale.

One Ø35 cable grommet hole in the desk top, 95 left of the centreline and 45 from the rear edge — so the iMac can stand right back against the wall without its foot covering the hole, and the display still hides it. The single iMac cable drops behind the drawers into the 20 mm wall cavity, through a 60 × 60 hole in the tall block’s back at desk height, to its power brick on the floor of column 3’s lower compartment, behind the lower door. Two Forming Function Powerdot Nano Ø24 USB-C ports (Ø19 holes) are let into the tall block’s right side panel next to the desk, 60 above the desk top and 60 and 100 from the wall; their 1 m leads go to USB-C adapters in that same compartment. Everything plugs into the one wall access point: the new flush double socket (niche circuit, 16 A) on the wall behind column 3’s lower compartment, 1310–1400 from the left corner and 570–660 high, left open by a 100 × 100 opening in the 8 mm back. The LED driver sits in the same compartment; its 24 V lead runs through a Ø10 hole in the divider and the niche cheek at cup-shelf height and on along a small groove under the cup shelf into the LED channel. Your scope: the Ø35 hole, the two Ø19 holes, the 60 × 60 back hole, the 100 × 100 opening, three Ø68 box holes plus one Ø10 lead hole through cheek and divider (drill them together, in line), the groove under the cup shelf and a few vent holes low in that compartment’s back. Powerdots, adapters and driver come from the client.

A stacked-lamination post, square at radius plus reveal — no flat left. The curve starts right after the last front’s 3 mm gap: radius 150 from 6010, so the bench ends at 6160. Full reveal under the bench top. The plinth corner block below is concentric at radius 110, so the 40 recess stays constant right around the curve.

Ladder frames on adjustable feet, standing directly on the floating laminate (no cut-back), with 25 mm clearance to all skirting. Never fixed through the floor.

Nothing protrudes anywhere. Every door and drawer is push-to-open. This is a hard requirement and it drives the hardware above.
